Guide Buffs
How the Guide NPC Get buffs option gives short progression buffs that scale with your character level.
Overview
Town Guide NPCs offer a Get buffs option that gives a set of progression buffs. These buffs are meant to help characters move through early and mid-game progression more smoothly.
The buffs scale with your character level, so a higher-level character receives stronger versions than a new character.
Where To Get Them
Talk to a town Guide NPC and choose Get buffs.
The option is available from the main Guide dialog. It can also appear on Guide NPCs in special town areas such as Hidden Village.
Duration
Guide buffs last 80 minutes.
You can return to a Guide NPC and use Get buffs again when you need to refresh them.
Buff List
The Guide applies the following buffs:

| Rock Energy | Defensive toughness. |
| Speed of the Wind | Movement and pacing. |
| Blessing of Strength | Strength-based characters. |
| Blessing of Vitality | Survivability. |
| Blessing of Intelligence | Magic damage and caster scaling. |
| Blessing of Wisdom | Magic defense and resource support. |
| Shining Weapon | Weapon power. |
| Shining Armor | Armor power. |
| Dark Might | Additional offensive support. |
| Wind Weapon | Extra weapon support, available from level 30 onward. |
Level Scaling
Most Guide buffs use one progression tier per 10 character levels.

Wind Weapon starts later and scales separately:

Creature Buffs
Guide buffs are applied to both your character and your active creature where the buff supports it. If you rely on a creature while leveling, refresh Guide buffs before long grinding or dungeon sessions.
Player Advice
- Pick up Guide buffs whenever you start a leveling session.
- Refresh them before entering a dungeon or committing to a long grind spot.
- Characters below level 30 do not receive Wind Weapon yet.
- Higher-level characters still benefit because the main buff package continues scaling up to tier 10.
